In my opinion, of all the mutant characters that needed a boost from a revamp, Beast wasn’t one of them. If there was one good thing that came out of the Skrull Invasion so far it was seeing the classic Beast romping around with Wonder Man, even if he wasn’t the real Beast we all came to love in Avengers.

: I think I can say with certainty that no
: Wonder Man fan will say he prefers the
: cat-like Beast to the first mutation
: monkey-like beast. About your second
: question I guess the besides Beast I would
: have liked Jean Grey & Mockingbird to
: have been the real deal just because I like
: both characters and wish they were alive.

: Hey guys. I just wanted to see what
: everybody
: thought about Wonder Man's buddy the Beast.
: I was always a big fan of the original blue
: Beast, but I have never liked the "cat
: Beast." I was very disappointed by the
: reveal that none of the heroes on the skrull
: ship that crashed in the Savage Land were
: genuine heroes, especially because I thought
: it would have been a great way to get rid of
: kitty cat Beast and some of the other less
: popular versions of characters.
:
: So, I guess I'm asking two questions: (1)
: Does anyone out there actually prefer the
: cat Beast to the original blue Beast, and
: (2) which heroes do you wish would have
: really been on the skrull ship, so we could
: bring back that version of the hero and get
: rid of the current version of the hero?
