EXACTLY!!! I couldn't have said it better. The actor edge hasn't helped this character much. Just to make him seem vapid, arrogant and self absorbed to many readers unfamiliar with his whole story. I love this situation he is in now; far away from the glamorous crap that makes him a joke in many fans eyes. I only hope Tieri has some real love for the character and can use this story well. I really can't wait for the next issue. There is one question. The West Coast Avengers reunion happens in July in the War Machine book which might imply that Simon eventually gets out of jail UNLESS the continuity has that story happen before Lethal Legion 1.
