And, hey, Wonder Man was Hawkeye's team strongman for his entire tenure as chairman, so that has to count for something, right?
: I admit, I went into this issue thinking
: Bendis was gonna have Wondy get taken out in
: one panel and being an after thought the
: rest of the story. I just don't trust Bendis
: when it comes to Wonder Man. So I was
: pleased to see how things went down. He
: definitely looked like a force and was
: treated well. I don't mind the brief battle
: as it sets things up for the long run and
: that's a GOOD thing. I'm intrigued and
: looking forward to more! I liked how Hawkeye
: was portayed, also. Hawk and Wondy may not
: be the Beast and Wonder Man, but they also
: are very close friends and seeing Clint
: warning Wolverine to beware and calling
: Simon one of the greatest Avengers ever was
: a nice touch...even though I'm sure Bendis
: was being sarcastic. Best part of it all was
: Wondy taking out Wolverine! What better way
: to get respect than beating down Logan?
: Thank you, so far, Mr Bendis!
: With that said, with the timeline being
: "broken", I'm wondering if this
: still isn't some alternate Wonder Man, who's
: look keeps changing due to the factured
: timeline because he looks so diferent from
: the first issue but I like it. It's as if
: Mitchel and I made a compromise!
: Whatever the case, Bendis seems to be taking
: Wonder Man seriously and I actually feel he
: has plans for Simon.
