Bendis really has made a habit attacking his family. He drove ex-lover Wanda psychotic and killed off his "brother" Vision - along with Ant-Man and Hawkeye on the same night. The Avengers closest to his family, Wasp by way of Hank Pym soon to follow.

: Funny but this Wonder Man and the one Bendis
: wrote for Mighty Avengers seem like totally
: different characters.

: I could be wrong but I don't think Simon had
: trouble keeping himself together. I believe
: he was in control. He formed, Iron Man and
: Thor found him, he said what he wanted to
: say and disappeared. Bendis has tinkered
: with Simon's powers before, this could be a
: new attribute Bendis has given him.
:
: Also, Simon hasn't done anything wrong, he
: just doesn't believe the Avengers should
: continue. He's tired of seeing his friends
: get hurt. In a way, he makes sense. Granted,
: his attitude is a bit more threatening than
: we are use to but untill his actions
: endanger innocent people, I won't consider
: him turning villain...yet. Hopefully, when
: the chips are down, Wondy will end up
: helping the Avengers and not hurting them.
:
: Overall, I like to see where this is going.
: At least Bendis is finally doing SOMETHING
: with Wonder Man. Maybe this new attitude is
: something the character needs to spark
: interest in him again. I just hope Bendis
: isn't setting Simon up to be the next
: "Sentry"...we know how THAT ended!
