: I've got a BAD feeling about this!
:
: I'm nervous too, but I'll keep my fingers
: crossed. Hopefully we'll at least get a
: good story out of this, even if it doesn't
: end well for Wondy.
:
: Boy, I hope I'm wrong. Maybe Simon will come
: out of this story with a better
: understanding of his powers and abilities,
: thus a better hero that Bendis will want to
: keep using. But it's BENDIS!...so naaaaah.
:
: We'll just have to wait and see. Although
: Wondy has never been a consistently
: spotlighted character in Bendis' run on
: AVENGERS, he *has* been a character that he
: has continued to use throughout the run. He
: was there when Bendis started in
: "Disassembled", he was there for
: "House of M", he was part of his
: "Mighty Avengers" run, he appeared
: in "New Avengers" in that press
: conference about Osborn, and now he's back
: again in Avengers as an
: increasingly-unstable threat.
: We may not necesssarily like how Bendis is
: choosing to use him--but you've gotta admit,
: its clear Bendis DOES have interest in
: Simon, since he is never gone long from the
: story in Bendis' run.
Yes Bendis does use Wondy, but usually poorly. Would love to see him with an improved power set and some respect, but expect to see him either dead, returned to jobberdom or a long term villain. Absolute Trousers..... And I don't like modern comic art. Is it just me or has it gone seriously downhill in the last 10 years....?
