: I swear I'm about to give up with Marvel and

: Jim Shooter, David Michelinie, Roger Stern,

Well said, Mitchel! It is frustrating being a Wonder Man fan.
As I stated in an earlier post, Hickman has said he was a fan of the West Coast Avengers. I really, REALLY thought he was going to be the one to show Wondy some love but now, who knows? He'd rather have people who have no relationship to(or no business being)Avengers, like Cannonball and Sunspot, on his team than someone who has been associated with the Avengers since nearly their beginning? I swear, it's almost like the character has been blacklisted since he refused to give the Vision back his brain patterns, thus breaking up one of the most beloved couples in Marvel history. I've got news for those who felt that was wrong-IT MADE SENSE! John Byrne had it right, Vision was basically Simon Williams in a android body. Since he loved Wanda, so would Wonder Man...DUH! Now, should Simon have put Wanda's feeling ahead of his own and given up his brain patterns again? Maybe, but I ask you all this-"Would YOU?" But I digress...
If ya ask me, a REAL writer would welcome the challenge to "fix" a character like Wonder Man because his potenial could be unlimited! The guy is made of ENERGY, he could do just about anything a writer could dream of. Heck, Marvel, let ME have a crack at him!!!
On the bright side, it has been said Wonder Man will be on the "big team", so hopefully it will be with a writer who has the balls to take on and "repair" this "damaged" character rather than toss him to the side and let him rot even more!
