It will be unique because the only option the retailers offer is a RA drive with hand controller. Several uk retailers regard the eq-2 as inadequate! with regard to option 2; would this be using an eq-5 or 6? i promise not to hold you to this but could you give a estimate for each option. with regard to counting the no. of turns. I take it you mean the RA and DEC. And would it be correct to turn each anti-clock wise to the stop point and then count each rotation of the control rod knob until i reach the stop point in a clockwise direction?
