Happy new year, hope you all enjoyed the Christmas break.
Just to let you know the next training session will be held on Saturday 19th Jan at Weetwood Sports Facilities and Pavilion in Leeds (LS16 5PS). It will be from 10am-12, so please make sure you arrive in enough time so we are ready to start at 10am. The session will take place on the 3G rubbercrumb pitch, metal studs can not be worn on here so you MUST wear either trainers or moulded studs. However please also bring your normal rugby boots as well as there will be a game at the end on grass weather permitting.
Due to the pitches being frozen before Christmas, this session will be used for the squad selection. Anyone who hasn't already signed up, but wishes to trial can bring £5 on the day. It will also be a development day and is therefore open to everyone regardless of standard. Can you please pass the message on to other players and encourage them to come along and get involved. The coaches will be running mini clinics covering a range of skills and drills.
The first senior match is coming up soon on Sunday 3rd Feb Vs North West, which will also be a weetwood. All future training sessions will be held at Weetwood and I will inform everyone of the dates nearer the time.
Can you please email/text back if you will be attending training on Sat 19th, also if you know of anyone else who is coming whether they want to trial or not, so we can ensure we have adequate provisions for everyone.
