Got an email from Andy Jordan who will be the coach-
As you are aware training sessions will commence for Leeds Akkies Womens team next Wednesday the 23rd of April. The session is open to anybody who would like to come providing they are over the age of 16. Sessions will be tailored to players of all levels and abilities, with the focus of the early sessions being on skills and basics of Rugby League.
Next Wednesday i will give an introduction to the club and what is in store for the summer. As it stands we will be entering a national 9's tournament on the 17th of May to kick off our competative games.
Training will commence at 7pm @ West Park Bramhope rugby club (Directions below) Please bring both Boots and Trainers if you have them as we have access to both our new pitches and new 3G rugby surface.
From M1
1. leave at Junction 43 and take the M621 towards Leeds City Centre. 2. Leave at Junction 3 following signs for City Centre. Then follow signs for "all Loop traffic". 3. Keep on Loop until you see signs for A660 Otley and University of Leeds. 4. Continue past University of Leeds for 3 miles. 5. Take the second exit at the large roundabout onto the A660. 6. Continue on the A660 for 3 miles. 7. At the roundabout turn left onto the Sycamores.
From M62 Westbound
From M62 Westbound take M1 at Junction 29 and follow directions above.
From M62 Eastbound
Take Juntion 27 onto M621 and leave at Junction 3 following directions above.
From A1
1. Leave at sign to Leeds A63,A58 or A61. 2. When you reach the ringroad A6120 follow the signs to Bradford. 3. At the A6120/A660 roundabout take the third exit onto the A660. 4. Continue on the A660 for 3 miles. 5. At the roundabout turn left onto the Sycamores.
From Headingley
Head out of headingly towards Weetwood roundabout continue accross the roundabout staying on the A660
Continue on this road past the Launswood on your left and the Romarda Jarvis on the right. When you see the rugby ground on the left turn left at the next roundabout into the Sycamores
