Some of Peter Blacksberg's photos are of kids that came to LFWC for two weeks in 1968, through a partnership between LFWC and a Head Start summer program in South Brunswick, NJ. I was one of the Head Start teachers who came along from NJ for the two-week visit, and then, as a new bride, I came back in 1969 as a counselor along with my then-husband. One of my fellow South Brunswick teachers was Tom Chapin, who came for the two weeks, too, and led us in a folk-music choral group. It was a strange, nice time.
