Hi everyone. I figured I'd stop by and see how things were going. I haven't had much time lately,(like for the last 2 months!!!) ahhh! Anyway, It's going to take me quite a while to read all these messages.
Sorry about the page. It's been kinda neglected. I don't know what's wrong with half of it. If anyone else has any ideas (ie. how to completely redo it so it's good) let me know.

I'm making the big ugly transition from the leadership stream to the pilot stream. I'm going on power this summer in St. Andrews Manitoba. Oie.
I'm planning on bringing my sweater, just so I can pin my wings on above the sword. (hee hee!)
I few pilot friends of mine still bug me because I have a "WSNBM" nametag on my flight jacket. Aparently it's sacrelige, some kind of contradiction of terms. Either way, it's always fun to bug the pilots. It'll be even more fun when I'm the only one on power who can do drill. (Wing Commander here I come!!!!) 
In responce to some of the comments made about people getting screwed. I agree with Parr. You can't just give up and quit. I'm still a SGT over here. I just had two cadets one level younger than me, that I taught drill and DI this whole year, promoted to F/SGT over me. Yes, we do get screwed by our squadrons. If you look at the F/SGTS and up in my SQN, every one either has a very influential parent on your parents comittee, or has a parent who just happens to be ACO (Air)! Damn it! The rest are pilots. (maybe I'll get promoted after the summer.
Anyway, the way I look at it. You might not get promoted as fast as you like, but look at what you're getting out of cadets. SLC, All the other cources you take, teaching experience, leadership experience, all kinds of stuff. You got the skills, whether or not you get the rank. Employers don't care if you're a CPL or A WOI. (most don't know the difference!) All they care is you have the experience that others don't. Don't give up on cadets. After this summer, if all goes well, I'll have gotten more than I could ever want from cadets. SCL, POWER. If you have waht you want you can ignor the politics, sit back, and enjoy cadets for what it is. An amazing organization. Look at the friends you've made from all across Canada! Where else could you do all these things.
Anyway, Let me know what you're all up to this summer.
NOTICE: to all those living in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC, along the #1 (trans Canada) highway. I'm heading on a two week vacation starting this sunday. I'm heading all the way to Vancouver Island. (and stopping by at some Pender Island inbetween, apparently i have relatives there?) Anyway. I don't know exactly where I'll be. I don't think I still have all your phone numbers, so If you can post them before I leave, I'll see if I can give you a call when I come by.
