MOTH 2000 LIVES ON!!!
Posted by Robert Laferrière on 8/24/2002, 13:27:38 As of recently, many non MOTH2K people have been stopping by to say hello. And that's fine with us. If you don't mind terrible, however, we'd apreciate if we knew who you were. Anyway, I enjoyed reading your post. SLC was important to me.
Welcome to the MOTH 2K Message Board.
You may find that the board is quite quiet as of late, considering many (if not most) of the flight has finished cadets. But it's always good to see a new post now and again.
As the administrator, I receive an e-mail telling me when new posts occur... so I'll always stop in and see who's around.
I wish I knew who you are... because it makes it dificult to respond.
What can I infer?
You didn't graduate SL this year... because it's "been a long time since.. (you) ..stepped onto the flight line"
So when did you do SLC...
Were you a MOTH?
And much of it's very very true.
I, myself, understand all too well the way that other cadets can give SLC grads a hard time.
I have a year left in Cadets, and I intend to finish it with the best performance I've ever given. I'm going to finish what I started in the fall of 1996. It will have amounted to 7 whole years of my life. And I have no regrets. I've always done my best, and intend to continue working, no matter what they may throw at me.
I think it's also important, however, to know that we aren't always as good as we sometimes think we are. We win some, and we definitly lose some.
But whatever you do... for those MOTH2K who are still left... and for all cadets everywhere.... Always finish what you start.
