A very successful and enjoyable event was held today at Runcorn CC . Organised by Dave Moore & assisted by Andrew Millest. Although conditions were a little cold and windy, a great turn out on this, the first of three events.
The lightning series is open to juniors in 4 categories .... under 10 girls & boys ...... and under 12 girls & boys.
All NW clubs and some from out of the area were represented, apart from our own club. I found this rather disheartening, seeing lots of kids out there having fun and making use of quality coaches, Dave finished off with a few more fun events, all aimed at stability, with out the youngsters realising of course.
The next event is in June, so there plenty of time for our juniors to come down on a Monday and have go at forward paddling.
