Good luck to John & Ned as they set off on another epic canoe challenge. There is a large entry this year, as this is the DW 60th anniversary. You can follow their progress by getting on the DW website, which gives superb coverage of times and positions as competitors go through the various check points........ Boats to look out for are : - John/Ned K2 non stop on the Saturday no. 357, K1 4-day event... Simons old boat paddled by Mike Hinson (coached a little by me) of sedbergh cc no. 202, also watch out for Jules Taylor from Bristol (Cheshire Ring record holder-hopes to lower it again this year) boat no.207 ......
