Boxing Day K2 race: The Broken Cross Six Miler
(a.k.a The Broken Cross 10K)
Date 26/12/2008
Venue Broken Cross pub, Northwich. Trent & Mersey Canal.
Entries: Please enter by 17/12/08 (email or phone Dave Moore 01606 48917)
Check in: On the day 10.30- 10.45am
Start: Mass start at 11.00am. Start and Finish outside the Broken Cross pub.
Fee: £1.50 per seat.
Rules:
Paddler’s rankings must add up to 9 or more. E.g. Div 1+ Div 9 = 10.
All juniors and paddlers in divs 7/8/9 must wear approved buoyancy aids.
BCU racing rules apply.
Prizes for all finishers.
All paddlers must have a drink (non alcoholic drinks available as well) in the pub after the race as they are providing butties for us. (Hot meals also available - at extra cost!)
Spectators welcome. Spectators are allowed in the pub as soon as it opens at 12.00 noon.
Courses: K2/C2 6.25 miles one turn, no portages. TC2 3.25 miles one turn, no portages.
