Roman Lakes is a nice little venue, it's generally where we use.
Bernard at the cafe now has taken back control of the lake, brookbank no longer do bookings (despite the sign).
Cost = £3 per person per 2 hours.
It is a little difficult to get going with Bernard but once he knows you, he's very friendly.
He does need to see proof of BCU membership & requires you to have a certain level of coach with you (L2 I think).
The lake is isolated with no safety, but ideal if you can get to use it.
