I'm struggling to get out paddling at the moment - been on a long holiday with the family, now my car is seriously ill and I can't move a boat around. I've not used any club boats before, so if I can get myself down the boathouse on friday night/sunday morning/monday night what's the procedure for taking one out? I would need a recommendation of what boat to use since I've not paddled a K1 for 30 years... but I'd want to use something I could paddle at a reasonable pace for a couple of hours.
