I have cleared a lot of debris out of the canal tonight ..... between bridges 29 , 30 & 31. Suggest we take out what ever we come across, as we see it. Had an amusing incident with a large submerged plastic keep left structure and a jogger. Spent half an hour removing 2 fence posts, back of a car seat, 2 thermos flasks, 3 buckets , a garden planter, small window frame and a rear wheel off a bike that was hooked up in a tree the previous night. So I expect there is another wheel and the bike frame some where in the canal as well.
