I assume some of you already know this but you can now paddle on Tittesworth near Leek. There is a £5 launching fee + you can also hire OCs + sitontops. There are some restrictions on where you can paddle..for example keep away from nesting areas..+ unless you have an inducted coach you are limited to the northern part of the lake. Its probably not quite as good flat water venue as Rudyard Lake, but has the Roaches as a very impressive backdrop.
