Thanks for the heads up Peter! Same at my place. I don't know when they start mating and when enough food is out there so they won't go hungry. Someone told me once you start feeding them you shouldn't stop until they can get their own food. Any bird experts out there?
On the price of seeds... I know it went up! I called The Shoppe's suppliers on the seed as well as garden supplies.... all the shippers are now adding on the extra cost of fuel for deliveries to the post office. They are also paying more for their products because shipping to them has gone up because of fuel. The bottom line looks pretty grim for everything we need to live on. The transportion costs are going through the roof on food as well as everything.... Time to garden, can and preserve food if you have the time. Peter - like you say: "It's back to the old ways"!
