When you reject the Word and do not put it into your heart and the mind, the old nature assumes control-and you shut down the powe and activty of your new heart, God will not stay in this temple. You will have forced the Holy Spirit to leave, and not because you have refused to store the Word of God in your mind, enabling it progress through the four stages of deliverance.Therefore your emotional memories and the stubberness of your old ind can draw your heart to do something that offends God.
