Summer Field Course announcement:
Alaska Natives have always used plants for food, medicine, art, and
construction.
The Ethnobotany Field Camp on Nunivak Island will put you in touch with
these roots, this July 7th through the 18th.
This summer camp will teach you about traditional plant resources which the
whole community can use.
Scholarships for Alaska Native students are available for this great
opportunity!
Pick up the phone today and call Rose, the Ethnobotany Coordinator, at
888-474-5207, or email her at fnram2@uaf.edu.
