During the month of May The Shoppe has received several notices of vendor price increases and experienced prices increases with no notifications. Rural Energy Enterprises has notified us of major prices increases on their products. An example is the Laser 73. Our cost to purchase this model for resale will increase to $200 per unit. Other models will increase respective of their size. These increases are effective June 1, 2008
REE is offering an "early buy in" for dealers. An example is the Laser 73. In June we will be able to purchase this model for close to $150 more than the old price.
REE has advised us that we can purchase the Laser line at the old price until May 31st. They are also doubling the rebates until May 31st which on the Laser 73 amounts to $100. On the Laser 73 a savings of $300 could be realized over future prices.
If you are thinking about purchasing a Toyo Laser product now would be a good time to do so. As advised by REE - old prices are dependent upon the present inventory in Anchorage and what we have on hand at The Shoppe for immediate sales.
Most all vendors we deal with are now adding fuel delivery costs to take goods to the post office or to the cargo department. It is no longer a matter of goods plus postage. It is goods plus postage, plus handling, plus fuel surcharges. A sign of the times. The Shoppe is doing its best to maintain fair prices in what appears to be difficult times ahead. Thank you
