What Snopes DOESN'T say is that the IRS requirement was part of this bill when it was originally introduced in 2000.
Mark Begich is unlikely to do anything about this considering his early association with NY mayor Bloomberg and his attempt to restrict gun rights.
To some people, only certain parts of the Constitution matter. I look forward to hearing the screams when someone proposes a permit for free speech and registration of printing presses.
Gun control isn't about safety. It's about control. The difference between citizens and slaves is that citizens are armed.
