By the beginning of tonight's city council meeting, four individuals had submitted letters of interest to fill the four vacancies and serve on the city council for this new term.
This came about due to no one being elected by write-in vote during the regular October election. The four vacancies were scheduled to be filled by appointed at tonight's council meeting.
Those four were appointed and are:
Joe Banghart
Doug Lyman
Jim Poelman
Richard Strick
They join Dustin Parker (re-elected Mayor), Karen Ladegard (re-elected Vice-Mayor) and Howard Correll; consituting the same council membership as in the previous term.
