We will be running the following Competitions at Convention in August:
Prepared Write Up
Prepared Speak Up
Brownfield
Impromptu Write Up
Impromptu Speak Up
Jaycee Jeopardy
The Prepared Topics Are:
Prepared Write Up: John Quincy Adams said "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." How have you shown leadership by inspiring others around you?
Master Speak UP: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said "Look not mournfully into the past, it comes not back again. Wisely improve the present, it is thine. Go forth to meet the shadowy future without fear and with a manly heart." Now that we have hit the midpoint of the Jaycee year what do you hope to accomplish in the remainder of 2011.
Prepared Speak Up: Robert Kennedy said " Each time someone stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope" In what ways does your local chapter send forth ripples of hope in your community.
