I can't wait until this wrestling season is over and done with! With all the complaining and belly aching going on you would think your kids were getting paid to place instead of getting medals and a chart(making kids cut weight so they can bring home 1st place every week?) is it really going to matter 5,10 yrs. from now? These kids are only 8,9-10.11-12 yr. olds these kids are not 13-14 or even high school kids where they can make up their own minds to cut weight or wrestle every weekend, it must be a ego trip for some of the parents. This is from a parent who has been doing this for many years. Isn't it about your kids having fun? Just had to get it off my chest, have a good weekend! Don't take this personal, it doesn't apply to everyone.
