I want to take this time to apologize to all the MYWAY board members, parents and wrestlers that have been effected by this weight issue. I take full responsibilty for all the trouble this has caused, I being Taylor's father I should have know the rules ahead of time. After speaking with Steve Dean this morning Taylor will be stepping down from the tournament and Steve I want to thank you for explaining what was going on up their.
Iam not going to go into what happen at the weigh in but I want everyone to know that Taylor does not and will NEVER! cut weight to avoid anybody, He simply got sick and lost weight. He wants nothing more than to wrestle the best of the best out their and that is why we joined your fine league. I am truly sorry for getting anybody upset.
You folks up in Michigan are very fortunate to have a Steve Dean to help run your league. I have nothing but respect for that man. He has help build a top notch program, I should know we have nothing even close in northern Indiana.
To all you parents out their that have wrestlers participating in sundays state tournament good luck but take time to truly enjoy what is important spending time with family and friends.
