Posted by Attok12 on November 20, 2005, 11:31 am Skorpio was an interesting villain, although we really didn't get to see him in action. He's an obscure baddie from the old STEEL comics I believe. I liked when he just gave up the moment that he saw Kate, who appears to have a reputation of sorts after killing Copperhead and the Monocle. I think Dylan going after the reporter who's been sneaking around the book lately is a mistake and will only make things worse. Kate's father has kidnapped Ramsey and has nailed Pete. Bad news. I am very interested in seeing how things progress with this guy, who is a villain of a different sort...or so it appears. Kate's staff got upgraded and even has a few changes to it. I liked the transporter device that Dylan cooked up for Kate, too. Having Cameron Chase in this book is fantastic, and I like how her powers have come up in conversation. She is like Jessica Jones in this way. Like Jessica, Cameron rarely uses her powers at all, to the point that you forget she has them until something comes up about it. The art by Javier Pina continues to be impressive. He's a great choice for this title. I miss Saiz, but Pina's art is quite similar to his. Anyway, I enjoyed this issue. This is a great series, only one of three that I get from DC. JSA and INFINITE CRISIS are the only other DC books I buy. I look forward to continuing my Manhunter collection.

Once again, we have another fine issue, the start of a new storyline, the last one in fact before the big one-year jump that is forthcoming.
