Hi,
This e-mail is about a television series filmed in Toronto ,"This is Wonderland" featuring so many Canadian actors that we all recognize.
Just in the first season alone (which I have on DVD) I saw Michael Mahonen (Gus Pike), Michael Riley, Cara Pifko (Mavis Prichart), Janet-Lane Green (Eliza Pike), Wayne Robson (Amos Spry), Catherine Fitch (Selena Dale) and Greg Spottiswood (David Haus). I am sure there were others that I can't think of at the moment.
This is Wonderland is a purely Canadian series, is in it's 3rd season - and CBC has announced that it plans to cancel the show. Yes the show uses very strong language, and most of the stories are of an adult nature. This is Wonderland is NOT Road to Avonlea.... but is showcases Canadian talent and deserves another chance.
Below is a URL for a petition that is being signed by people who want the show to continue.
I went through the list of signatures and pulled out a few you might recognize. I have listed some of the names at the bottom of this e-mail. It would be wonderful if a lot more people signed the petition. YOU don't have to, but it would be nice if you did. I am going to sign it as soon as I send this e-mail,

You won't find another one like it. I know I never will People are watching and they are talking about it. Huge mistake to cancel this show
