Posted by Kitty on 3/19/2005, 10:28 am I sent an invitation to Avcon05 to Kay Tremblay, who played Aunt Eliza ... because she was "part of the King family on Avonlea"(Yes, I know - she was Janet's Aunt ... and was a Ward, but ... LOL) . The invitation went to Kay through the Character's Talent Agency(also Mickey's agency, too) . I got an answer from Kay's agent, Ron Barry. It seems that Kay is now in a nursing home. I asked if he thought she might like to get cards or letters from her fan, who enjoyed watching her on Avonlea ... and he thought that she might like it. His reply to me is below. I hope everyone can take a moment and send a message to Kay, by sending it to Ron ... Kitty ... as in cat ~~~~~~~~~~~~~` I know that for Kay Tremblay, 'Road to Avonlea' was one of her most treasured times in the business. She loved the work, and enjoyed being recognized by the public and being praised by her peers for her wonderful performance. I think it's a great idea to have some of her fans send her good wishes and cards saying that they are thinking of her, and still enjoying her performance in reruns of the series. If you would just send everything care of me here at The Characters, 8 Elm Street 2nd floor, I'll make sure that it gets to her Again thank you for your kindness here.
