as many of you may have heard (unless you are living in a cave without electricity, in which case you STILL haven't heard...) iowa has had a few rain showers over the last week and a half and the rivers are kinda full. and that is an understatement along the lines of "roger decoster was a good motorcycle racer"... anyway, interstates 80 and 380 are now open across iowa so you can get to the track. craig maasdam says the track is in great shape. the weather looks good for the weekend. i will be posting a midwest vmx sign at the first right turn off the black top and again at the entrance to the track, which really looks more like an entrance to a cow pasture (which it is...) rather than a motocross track. the directions in the events section should now be accurate and we have indicated only one route to get there as it is easiest, whether you are coming from east or west. so call your friends, ask your neighbors, do whatever it takes to get folks to come and race and have a great time this coming saturday!
