If your throttle is hanging-up, or slow to snap back - check your throttle tube first. Is it slid too far in on the bar? Is the inner part of the end of the grip binding on the bar? Have you checked your slide spring?
I'd start there. If that is all OK - then maybe you have a fray inside the cable somewhere.
