I'm still using the OEM throttle on my Elsinore, so I'm not much help with you there. But I think you can call Motion Pro and ask about an aftermarket set up. They will match a throttle and cable for your bike.
On a side note, I installed a Gunner Gasser throttle on a XL350 a couple years ago and had to have a cable made for it. There is a guy near me that restores vintage Harley Sprints and he makes his own cables. He buys it bulk in 500 foot rolls and cuts it to fit, solders the end balls on and everything. Maybe you'll need to go that route?
