Yeah, I thought about that. I e-mailed Vintage Iron about the gunner kit they sell, I'm still waiting for a reply. I did find that Parts unlimited sells a cable for this bike for $9.95! So, I'm thinkin' about ordering it and buy an original assembly off E-bay for now. another quick question, are you using the original style lower chain roller? I had to make shift a YZF250 roller to work, but, I've noticed that it hits the brake guide arm when the suspension is compressed. The pics in th manual looks like ther isn't much clearance to begin with.
