Recently, my girlfriend has been having very weird things happen to her. She lives with her 2 parents, and her sister who is older. She sometimes will be down on the ground floor at night, watching tv or playing ont he computer, etc., and a light will go on in the room adjacent. It is almost like a type of flood light in the high ceiling. The switch is upstairs near her parents room. It goes on and soon goes off. When she goes upstairs to see who turned it on, everyone is sound asleep. Also, there are flood lights outside on the house. She is sitting in the living room sometimes, and those go on, and off. The other day she was up in her room with about 4 different ligths on, she had the radio on pretty loud and was cleaning up. Her room is upstairs, and she could see the light at the bottom of the stairs on. Then all at once, all the upstairs ligths went off, and the stereo included. She ran down the stairs, and the light on the ground floor was still on, then after about 15-20 seconds, the ligths and the stereo went back on, right where it had been before. Now, having some interest in the paranormal, I asked her a few questions like had anyone died in the house, were you the first ones in it, etc. They are the only ones that have lived in the house before, it used to be a farm, there was a horse burried in the back yard but that is it. Her dog sometimes sits there and barks as if something is there, like when a spirit is present. The happenings only occur when noone else is around, or everyone else will not notice or witness these events, and it only happens to her. Should she be concerned about this? Should she have someone check it out, should we look for some kind of evidence? What should we do?
