It does sound to me as if you may have a spirit trying to communicate with you. It does sound very frightening, especially the numbness. You should really invite a good and respected medium to check over your home. I am also aware that sometimes when we have been asleep our minds can awaken before our body. We then feel unable to move, as if we are paralysed. When we sleep, our brain controls our respiration, pulse etc and also tries to ensure that we will remain safe in bed and not go acting out our dreams. When your mind awakens before your body it gives the sensation of paralysis and i have heard many people say how terribly afraid they had been, as if they were being held down. Firstly though, I would invite the medium in and see if she/he can help. God bless.
