I think there's many ways you can allow Satan into your life and researching satanism just for the fun of it is one of those ways. My best friend in high school decided to read the satanic bible and had horrible experiences after that until she burned the book. She had demonic visions and if I'm not mistaken, also had a bad taste in her mouth. She renounced it and things got back to normal. Unfortunately, it's not very hard to find evil in this world and while I think the internet is MOSTLY a good thing, it can be used for bad stuff. You're not the only one who has had this happen. I had a dream one night during a horrible time in my life where I died and went to hell. For the longest time there was this horrible, awful smell and taste in my mouth, not anything I had ever smelled before or since. It was like pure sulfur and just thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach. It's changed my views on the afterlife considerably.
