I don't ever want, as much as I love electronic media, to do without those things that sit on shelves for me to take down and enjoy, As for the surface noise....oh who cares. Jazz sounds better with a pop and a tick!

I must confess that I am not technically savvy enough to be able to comment on the media. What I do know though, is that people with large libraries, good record collections and a taste for great food an wine appeal to me on a social and esthetic level. Long live the collector, and long may he have something to collect.
