I like his nine symphonies. The best I think is the 4th symphony though. Around me, there is very few who know Arnold.
In Japan, many English composers are not evaluated enough high. For Delius, Walton, and Britten, there's much information of their compositions and CDs. Tippett does not enjoy so much. Luckily, I can appreciate some of their masterpiecies. But I think I should learn more. Would you please give some list of the most significant works of Brittish composers?
And I can refer to it.
