Open up a new world and find Ignaz Friedman (1882-1948). His complete recordings are available on cd. In particular, listen to his Mazurkas, and especially the op. 55 E flat Nocturne.. the single greatest interpretation of a Chopin work ever recorded. You will never feel the same about piano playing and its possibilities.
