If you mean "The Creation of the World" on the same LP as Bernstein's "Fancy Free" dance music, then the Milhaud is definitely excerpted. However I can recall several dance performances, which used what sounded close to this excerpted version. By the way, that's a very nice vintage recording. And I can recall buying it when it was new.
Perhaps Milhaud had another version?
