Posted by John Hill Anyway, my main problem with Nuove is not that Rolf and his buddies noodle on baroque instruments but a production aesthetic much closer to "pop" than classical, much more obviously (to me) manipulated. I always knew, of course, that all manner of voodoo is practiced in the studio, but I draw the line when it starts to draw attention to itself. The location of this line, obviously, will be different for different listeners.
