Many thanks for this. I heard Schiff perform the last 3 sonatas in symph hall, birmingham in dec 2006, but without any introductions. In fact he played the 3 works in very dim lighting (for atmosphere) and with no breaks between them - remarkable!
Can't wait to hear his thoughts. Bet amny others are unaware of these gems.
