BMS members in or near Glasgow may like to note that on Sunday 10th June 2007 at 3.00pm there will be a FREE concert of Scottish Music at the City Halls in Glasgow to be given by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. The concert will feature Hamish MacCunn's overture "Land of the Mountain and the Flood"; J B McEwen's Viola Concerto (soloist Scott Dickinson); and works by James MacMillan, Edward McGuire and Martyn Bennett. The concert will also feature the young singer Catriona Watt, and be conducted by Stefan Solyom. All tickets are free with unreserved seating.
