Posted by TJ Pridonoff After referencing the list of works in Lewis Foreman's updated biography, I think the few orchestral works that remain unrecorded are: -Variations for Orchestra (1904) There's also a few orchestral works that have been released but are sadly out of print Chandos supposedly has plans to reissue the ballet's, but the others look very doubtful for reissue. It would have been nice for Decca to include the Viola Phantasy on their rather short "British Music Collection" Bax disc (catalog # 473 080-2), I guess it was released before they acquired Conifer?

"And with Work in Progress at last available on disc, there are now very few purely orchestral works by Bax that have not been recorded ― a situation that would have seemed inconceivable forty years ago, when Del Mar’s version of the Sixth Symphony first saw the light of day."
I thought this was a very interesting anecdote at the end of Graham Parlett's review. It's amazing how much Bax's discography has increased over the last 20 years--even the last 10 years. Only recently (the past 2 years) discovering this music, I feel very lucky to have been exposed to the music at such a time where so much is readily available. Many in multiple recordings.
-A Song of War & Victory (1905 tone poem)
-Victory March (1945)
-Variations on Faure (1949)
-Parlett's second suite from the Tamara ballet. (orch. 2005)
-Piano concertino (1939, orchestration unfinished, completed by Parlett?)
-Phantasy for Viola & Orchestra (Conifer)
-3 Pieces for Small Orchestra (EMI)
-Truth About Russian Dancers/From Dusk Til Dawn (Chandos)
