There is some English orchestral music at this year's Cheltenham Festival after all. The very last concert includes Appalachia by Delius and Elgar's Sea Pictures. My apologies to the Festival for getting that wrong.

Terry, If you're exploring Chelenham Symphonies by CD then let me recommend one that's particularly interesting: the Dutton release of broadcast performances of William Alwyn's first two symphonies. These are in BBC recordings from 1952/3 and are of special interest because they're conducted by Barbirolli. Neither was made at the Cheltenham Festival but these good performances, in pretty decent sound, offer a very direct link with the Cheltenham Symphonies and the man who premiered so many of them. You may well know the recordings but if not the disc, released earlier this year is well worth getting hold of.
