Ken Russell's 'Song of Summer'

It is claimed in the article on this film that Ken wanted to shoot a sequence with a naked girl jumping in a lake 'but it rained for five days and the idea was abandoned'.
My memory is that it was shot as were other visual sequences, but they were not included in the film because they were so out of keeping with the tone of the script.
I know because I was the editor.
