It is Richard Strauss, Brentano-Lieder op.68, "An die Nacht". I do not remember ever hearing this music - Strauss was my guess, and I listened several times for the words, very badly enunciated by the singer who sounds past her due date, so as there seems to be only one setting...

I put this up because I thought I knew the Strauss Orchestral songs but these were new to me. The singer is Ricarda Merbeth and the disc is a new Naxos 8.570283
