Further to Brian Wilson's review of this Taverner Mass, it should be pointed out that while the choir of Christ Church, Oxford, are indeed the successors to Taverner's own choir (St Frideswide's was never a cathdral, incidentally), they have never been directed by Edward Higginbottom, who recorded the Mass with his own choir at New College.
